made hand - this is the opposite of a drawing hand in poker. In drawing hand, you need or expect cards at the final of the community cards to complete your hand. Whereas in a made hand, you already completed your cards, you do not need the draw. The best example of a made hand would be the pocket aces at the pre-flop.
maniac - in poker, someone who bets loosely and raises almost always is called an aggressive player. It can also refer to a maniac.
misdeal - happens in poker when there is a mistake or mistakes in the distribution of the cards.
move in - another term for all in in poker, which means to bet all of you chips to the pot.
muck - this act is also called folding in poker. You fold your hand because you know another hand is better than yours and there is no chance of you winning.
offsuit - in poker, these are cards that are not of the same suit. Example is a ten of hearts and an Ace of clubs.
out of pocket - this gives a poker player the chance to rebuy at the middle of a hand. Some poker games do not allow this though, especially at poker tournaments. Because at poker tournaments, they would like to find out who is better given the same number of chips.
outs - these are the possibility of drawing a card. Poker players should practice computing their chances or their outs because it will help them decide more on what actions to take.
overcard - this happens when the community card has a higher ranking card than a poker player's pocket pair.
